The tynor mallet finger splint is a very simple device, which is used to maintain the distal-interphalangeal joint (DIP) in a position of dorsiflexion or in a functional position. It is required to immobilize these phalanges in order to deal with fractures, or to address the dysfunction of the DIP joint as a result of a fracture.
